Grant’s Got Talent

Grant County is full of talent!

To facilitate talent development in the county, the Growth Council collaborates with schools, workforce organizations, and employers to provide custom training programs and opportunities.

Past collaborations have included WorkOne, Ivy Tech, Kinwell Academy, Taylor University, Indiana Wesleyan University, all K12 schools in the county, Project Leadership, Marion Regional Career Center, and more.

A few programs that have grown out of Grant’s Got Talent include:

• Healthcare Workers Training

• Manufacturing Skill Standards Council (MSSC) Certified Production Technicians Training

• Industrial Maintenance Training — the Growth Council received a $250,000 state grant to run this program

• High School Job Fairs (now called Industry Showcase) — this was a partnership between the Growth Council, Project Leadership, and the Community Foundation of Grant County
