One Week Left: Nominate a Business, Organization or Project for the Economic Impact Appreciation Awards

The deadline to submit nominations for the Grant County Economic Growth Council’s Economic Impact Appreciation Awards is one week away, end of day Monday, May 11. If you've been thinking about nominating someone, or putting your own organization forward, now is the time to act.

The Why

Economic development works best when the people doing the work get recognized, and when that recognition encourages others to follow. The Economic Impact Appreciation Awards exists to shine a light on the businesses, organizations and projects that are shaping Grant County's economic future, whether through job creation, community investment, workforce development or innovative approaches to doing business here.

These aren't just awards. They're a public record of what's working in Grant County, and an invitation to more of it.

Who Should be Nominated

We're looking for nominees across small business growth, manufacturing, community development, entrepreneurship, etc. If you know of a business, nonprofit, project or individual who has made a measurable difference in our local economy in the past year, they belong in consideration.

You don't have to be the business owner or organization leader to submit a nomination. You can nominate:

  • Your own business or organization

  • A project or initiative you've led or participated in

  • A neighbor, client, supplier or partner whose work you admire

  • A community effort that deserves broader recognition

If the work is happening in Grant County and moving us forward, it's eligible.

How to Nominate

Nominations are submitted through link to form. The process takes approximately five minutes to complete. The deadline is end of day Monday, May 11.

Don't Leave Good Work Unrecognized

One of the things we hear most often after awards programs is: "I didn't know they were doing that." That's exactly what we're trying to change. The businesses and organizations pushing Grant County forward deserve visibility, and the broader community deserves to know about them.

If you've seen the work, tell us about it. Nominations are open here through May 11.
