Eight Grant County businesses are receiving $7,500 in financial assistance through the First Round of the Growth Council’s COVID-19 Loan Fund.

Tim Eckerle has been the Growth Council’s only director since its establishment in 1984. Throughout his tenure, Eckerle has developed and guided the Growth Council’s mission to foster economic development in Grant County.

The Growth Council’s COVID-19 Loan Fund has partnered with Grant County’s Convention and Visitor’s Bureau to expand its funding capacity.

A new Facebook page launched to provide a platform for Grant County businesses to communicate with the community during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Grant County businesses impacted by the Global Pandemic, the COVID-19 virus, will now have access to financial assistance through the Growth Council’s COVID-19 Loan Fund.

Grant County’s economic prospects are looking up. According to the Bureau of Economic Analysis’ (BEA) annual report, Grant County’s gross domestic product (GDP) rose by 11.17 percent between 2017 and 2018.
